North Green Association‘s initiative titled “Campaigning for improved protection and management of forests in the protected national park of Lura”. The initiative’s main goals were to investigate and advocate for improved protection and management of forests in the protected national park of Lura through recommendations to policy makers and an intensive advocacy campaign.

ADVOCATE^LOBBY^ACTIVISM
The principal objective is to be responsible all actors, Local and Central Government, community, private sector for the situation, with advocate an lobby to make possible reforestation and good management in the future. We organized round table with all principal actors and meet face-face in the terrain the citizens and private sectors living/working in Lura Village. We planted in collaboration of professor, students of Professional School “Nazmi Rrushiti”-Peshkopi, and AdZM-Dibër (Regional Agency of Protected Area), 1000 seeding native Trees for Lura.
CREATE A INFO. FOLDER
The information folder, collecting data on the site, scientific research “Articles” (articles), info-graphics, multimedia products “short clips” will be published on official North Green website, social networks, portals, televisions and local newspapers to promote public debate.
DRAFT RECOMANDATION
We create an document with all information about the ECOCIDE of the Lura National Park. This document inform all actors about the real situation and political recommendations for good management of forest areas and afforestation practices at the Lura national park will also be shared during consultation with the civil society carried out by the European Union delegation in Tirana (for drafting Albania’s progress report).
